Blocked in Tibet! Wow!My students will love that. I am acquiring a certain reputation as an international man of mystery that does my class numbers no harm at all.

Hi Chris, on the subject of the freedom of the internet, it might interest you to know that you are banned in Tibet! I was there a couple of months ago and tried to get my "fix" of this blog, only to find access blocked, along with access to some other Western sites, but not all. Admittedly the helpful internet cafe person told me that there was no knowing which sites would be blocked by the authorities from day to day and I might find access possible another time, but I am now wondering if next time I go I should try smuggling LATS books across the border!
